Thermoplastic elastomer, beige, Shore A 64. Can be used at temperatures from -51 to 135 °C. Can be autoclaved repeatedly, and non toxic. To USP Class VI. Fulfills FDA and NSF criteria. Suitable for laboratory, medical and research work, e.g. cell culture application. Significantly less gas leakage than silicone. Long working lifespan when used in peristaltic pumps. Ozone and UV resistant. Very good chemical resistance.
Shore A 64. The tubings have been formulated to withstand the rigors of peristaltic pumping action while providing the biocompatible fluid surface required in sensitive bioprocess applications. Resistant to repeated CIP and SIP cleaning and sterilization. Complies with USP Class VI and FDA and the documented biocompatibility according to standard 10993. Autoclavable.
